All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the universe and all its content, may His peace and benevolence remain on the best of mankind, his household, companions and all those who are striving to follow his examples till the day of reckoning. Amin.

Background:

Contemporary stories on the neglect that children who have lost one

or both parents abound. Such that almost everybody must have heard at least one of such pathetic stories. Providing the educational needs of children in this category was found to be the toughest of challenges facing their mothers or guardians.

Thus, facilitating financial and educational support for orphans is the way out of the poverty that threatens their access to quality adult life eventually or even their very existence as it were.

Rationale:

The cost of not meeting the above need for quality basic education for orphans is enormous. Society will continue to deteriorate because uneducated orphans will not remain children for life. They become maladjusted, broken, and disgruntled adults. They make society pay for the neglect they have been through; the crime rate will increase, evil will spread, and even the educated and rich families will live in fear of the evil that may get to them from the miscreants made out of innocent orphans who could have been helped. The rich will be sleeping with their two eyes wide open. The Muslim community especially will be at the receiving end of the negative narratives and stereotypes.

The cost of preventing these states of hopelessness, backwardness, and insecurity in our society is cheaper and more beneficial for us all. The recompense, from Allah to the callers and sponsors, is enormous here and hereafter.

Vision: To be a charitable body enhancing the education and self-actualization of orphans.

Mission: To provide a platform for sourcing and coordination of funds for the education of orphans for a peaceful and healthy coexistence while prioritizing accountability and functionality.

Objectives:

● To provide a platform for engaging in the righteous act of meeting the educational needs of orphans.

● To source and receive funds for the education of Muslim orphans

● To liaise with individuals and corporate organizations to provide regular financial and educational support for Muslim orphans.

● To ultimately set up and run orphanages for Muslim orphans.

● To coordinate funds donated for the purpose of orphan education.

● To facilitate the well being of Muslim orphans from childhood through adulthood.

• Collaborate with willing bodies, private and public, to enhance the well-being of orphans.
